Work and chronic pain

Working when you are in persistent pain can aggravate it.

If you have to take time off due to a pain flare up, you may have concerns around others’ perceptions and this can have a negative impact on your confidence.

Workwell West

Workwell West can support anyone with chronic pain who is registered with a GP in North Somerset.

They provide a free service to support people who are struggling, as a result of your health, to stay in employment, return to work after sickness or absence, or to find new employment.

Workwell West works with you to set meaningful goals, and connect you to advice, information and services which support your health, wellbeing and employment needs.
