Basic First Aid

Curriculum content:

1. How to make a clear and efficient call to emergency services if necessary,
including the importance of reporting incidents rather than filming them.
2. Concepts of basic first aid, for example dealing with common injuries and ailments,
including head injuries.

• The Red Cross produce kindness and wellbeing teaching resources.  In addition they provide teaching resources which give children and young people the skills, confidence and willingness to act when someone is in need of first aid
• St John Ambulance also provide resources to support First Aid
