Needle Exchange

Anyone who injects drugs can access needle exchange services. You can use the service to get needles, syringes, citric or vitamin C and other equipment for injecting.

Accessing needle exchange is free and confidential. They will ask you for some basic information about yourself, but they will not share this information with anyone else.

Needle exchange services at With You, our drug and alcohol service provider, can also give you free naloxone kits and training (naloxone is a drug that can reverse the effects of an overdose and save someone’s life). You can also get tested for blood borne viruses such as HIV and hepatitis C.

There is also a needle exchange dispensing machine located at Horizon Health Centre, 68 Lonsdale Avenue, WSM BS23 3SJ.  You will need to request a token at the reception desk.
