Go4Free
Go4Free is a physical activity project which aims to increase participation across all age ranges, by providing free passes to a physical activity class/session of your choice.
To be eligible for a Go4Free pass you will need to meet both of the below criteria:
- Take part in less than 30 minutes of physical activity per week
- Live in North Somerset
Referrals into the scheme can be made by the North Somerset Healthy Lifestyles Advisors (HLA), North Somerset Social Prescribers (see the list at the bottom of the page), or via another local professional.
Self-referrals can be made by completing this online form
The Go4Free pass will provide you with five FREE visits and five HALF PRICE visits (for which you will pay a maximum of £3 per session) to one of the approved Go4Free physical activity sessions of your choice.
Please see the list of sessions included within the scheme below, please note that you will be required to select one physical activity provider that you will be able to redeem your Go4Free pass at. There are activities available aimed at all age ranges and abilities.
Voluntary Action North Somerset (VANS) are co-ordinating and issuing the Go4Free passes. Following permission from you, your name and contact email / telephone number will be shared with VANS, they will contact you by email or telephone in two working days to collect further details needed to issue you with a Go4Free pass.
Once you have provided the further details requested VANS will issue you with the Go4Free pass.
The Go4Free pass will be valid for three months, from the date of issue. Please ensure you use the pass within the expiry date as VANS are unable to extend expiry dates or re-issue lost passes.

If you are a local physical activity provider and would like to join the scheme as a Go4Free provider please contact VANS on the above email, or complete and submit the Go4Free provider form. Further information about how this works for providers can be viewed in our news section.
If you are a local practitioner and would like to refer North Somerset residents you are supporting to the scheme please contact VANS, you will need to be able to support inactive residents to use the Go4Free pass throughout the duration of the project.
